Yate International Academy, Bristol

JJ Interiors carried out the Internal fit out package at Yate International Academy, Bristol for Willmott Dixon.

The project consisted of a new build secondary school for 1500 students.

JJ Interiors's work included the internal drylining, tape and jointing, ceilings, acoustic panels, joinery and carpentry.

The works package consisted of the following elements installation of the doors and screens, skirting, architraves, ironmongery, shelving, notice boards, stair strings, acoustic panels to the sports hall, rafts to the dining area and baffles to the technology barn. We also supplied the reception counter and other joinery items throughout the project.

Within the new school, JJ created a theatre, sports hall, art, technology, hair and beauty areas along with your traditional IT suites, and standard curriculum classrooms.

The project had various issues with water ingress and delays with other trades, however our commitment to our client ensured the project was completed on time and to an extremely high quality.
